WWC - Wakeboard World Cup

World Wakeboard Council

The World Wakeboard Council is made up of members from the following countries all over the world, representing 89 Federations with the common interest of having a passion for wakeboarding:

Australia x 2
Canada
France
Germany
Great Britain
Singapore
Spain
USA x 2

Each of the members are involved considerably in their own respective countries and regions, organising events and promoting the sport. The WWC are a discipline under IWSF, responsible for organising events, training, writing of rules and the promotion of wakeboarding on a global basis.

IWSF is not new to wakeboarding, countless federations have been organising individual tours for over 10 years with regional competitions such as the European Wakeboard Pro Tour being run since 1994 and the World Games in 2000 in Akita, Japan.

We have successfully run the WWC World Wakeboard Championships every year since 2000, taking the event internationally to Montpellier - France, Sun City - South Africa, Rio de Janeiro - Brazil, Sydney - Australia and later this year in Seville - Spain. Last year 144 riders attended from 19 different countries, making this a truly international competition.
