Dana Garcia comments: Jacinta broke the Women\'s Jump Record with a jump over 200 feet. This is an amazing achievement. The weather during this event was also crazy, with cross gusts in the air, setting-sun glare and rollers from the turn to the base. This was not an easy accomplishment. Other than Jacinta, I am not sure we have another female that can break this record in the near future. Therefore, I vote for Jacinta

Glen Williams comments: For me Jacinta is an easy choice for female skier of the year , the first 200 ft jump , moments like these are rare in our sport , a major barrier has been broken showing what can be done by tgise young ladies that follow behind her , unbeaten in every tournament she had the opportunity to attend . She makes winning in women’s jump look easy  not because the rest of the ladies are poor jumpers but because she is so good . 
Jamie has had a great year for sure but with due respect our greatest ever female slalomer Regina is still carrying an injury which may have helped Jamie this year .
