As the season is starting soon and to give the opportunity to the Pro Committee start working on finding organizers for competitions and promoting the tour through the web.
Do we agree to move from Elite Points into Pro points?

1. Who/what is hosting this new list 
2. Who will be the arbiter on the rules and issues for those “in the moment” times 
3. Who will make the larger decisions when a bigger question/issue comes up.

I know that this motion has passed with enough votes - and if I had a vote I would vote Yes also. 
But I think that we, the WaterSki Council, should have some more information and answers about the IWWF vision and plan for this.

It is clear to me that we have voted not just for a small technical change in Elite Points, but also to endorse the creation of an IWWF Sanctioned Pro Tour. I think the idea of an organised Pro Tour is a fantastic one, is long overdue and I congratulate all those involved in bringing this proposal to where it is now.

But that is an important moment for us and I do not think it unreasonable that we request answers for many of the questions already raised.
I will not repeat Dana\'s questions but I believe many of them are relevant to this decision.
In addition I would like to ask:
Some National Federations have specific rules regarding Amateur and Professional status. Have Federations been consulted? Will this tour and the athletes who participate in it be in conflict with those rules?
What is the vision of IWWF for how the Pro world lives beside the Amateur world? What happens when there is (and there will be) conflict between those worlds?
Athletes representatives - do we need to expand our Athletes representation on our committees to have athletes who represent Pro skiers and athletes who represent Amateur skiers? 

Once again I fully support this endeavour but I believe we should have these answers - if not for this decision then for the next decision that will come up, and the next, and the next.......
