Based on our recent decision, this are the proposed rule changes, please vote yes to approve the text.

Rule 2 – Competition Events
f.	35+: 35 years or older - as of December 31, preceding the competition.
g.	45+: 45 years or older - as of December 31, preceding the competition.
h.	55+: 55 years or older - as of December 31, preceding the competition.
i.	65+: 65 years or older - as of December 31, preceding the competition.
j.	70+: 70 years or older - as of December 31, preceding the competition.
k.	75+: 75 years or older - as of December 31, preceding the competition.
l.	80+: 80 years or older - as of December 31, preceding the competition.
m.	85+: 85 years and older
Note: 	A skier who is 35 or older may compete in any of the age categories in which he falls.
A skier who is 35 or older must compete in the same age division in all the events (slalom/tricks/jump/overall) that they compete in during the competition.

8.02:	Shortening speeds

18.01: Skiers who may participate
Skiers eligible for this competition are Men and Women in the age division listed below. 
Division	Age
35+	35 years and older
45+	45 years and older
55+	55 years and older
65+	65 years and older
70+	70 years and older
75+	75 years and older
80+	80 years and older
85+	85 years and older
All ages refer to the age of the skier on the 31st December of the previous year.
There shall be no combination of divisions regardless of the number of competitors with the exceptions detailed below. Championship medals will be awarded in each division to the top three places (or the number of competitors if that is less than three) regardless of the number of competitors in the event with the exceptions detailed below.
Note: 	A skier who is 35 or older may compete in any of the age categories in which he falls.
A skier who is 35 or older must compete in the same age division in all the events (slalom/tricks/jump/overall) that they compete in during the competition.

Bob Corson comments: I think that skiers will have different ability levels in the events and for example a 45+ skier may be competitive in slalom in the 35+ but only competitive in overall in the 45+ so he has a difficult choice to make.

Candido Moz comments: We decide to allow skier to choose in which division to ski, but we cannot allow a skier to compete, in the same competition, in the three events in different age divisions. 
Example: a skier 58 year in the same tournament cannot compete in slalom in the 35+, in tricks in the 45+ and in jump in the 55+. He has to ski in all three events in the same age division.

Christophe Duverger comments: i agree with the rule, 
1/ about overall, if you want to competition in +35 slalom (when you are 46 years old) because you feel strong in slalom...well you stay in that same category for overall....
2/ didn\'t we say the +45 women could choose to ski at 55 or 52? maybe i forgot sorry...
3/ for the podiums, i think we should only give medals and titles if there is at least 3 ou 4 skiers in that category ...
