I received the following request:

The Swiss Waterski and Wakeboard Federation ask to consider the following proposition due to exceptional circumstances of 2020 (Covid).

CONSIDERING THAT  : 
- most 2020 tournaments are cancelled 
- we are trying to find the best solution for skiers performances recognition (specially those who change speed this year)
- many tournaments are made on the same lake (for example we are organizing every season 3 tournaments (3 event) in the same lake (La Rena, Bourg-en-Bresse, FRA)

PROPOSITION : 
We ask the TC to give a different SITE CODE for each tournament in 2020 even if the tournament is held on the same lake to give skiers a chance to improve their 2019 ranking.

ADVANTAGE : 
- It will give the opportunity to skiers that are changing speed in slalom or jump in 2020 to homologate results with their new speed.

Christophe Duverger comments: for sure it would be confortable for the swiss skiers to ski only on one lake and do there ranking on the same site, but we made  rules for that matter a long time ago....the reasons where good back then and still now...
All the swiss skiers already go to france to participate at this tournament(La Rena) because it is in France.... so they can go to other tournaments sites in France and do there ranking like every other skier in the world...sorry but for me there\'s no reason to change that rule for the Swiss skiers...

Dimos Alexopoulos comments: Unfortunately its not possible for one site to have multiple codes. Practically the software used, does not accept the same site (with same name and coordinates) to have different site codes

Bruce Cockburn comments: I have been waiting to see what other people thought about this proposal
for Australia this would help as there are travel restrictions between states which will limit skiers ability to traval to L tournaments outside of their state
for example Western Australia only has 2 sites that hold L tournaments
and one of them does not hold one every year
so I am voting yer to this proposal
