Dimos Alexopoulos comments: As the text is written by a lower and for some of us its difficult to understand, I think that we should have some parts clarified by someone that speaks the lowers language... i am not intimidated by this kind of letters, but I think that for the second time during the past few years we need legal advice...

Christophe Duverger comments: this is going to far for me, i give up on this problem, my english is not good enough and i agree with Dimos, if things go this way in the futur IWWF needs legal advice...good luck with this competition after all it is only waterskiing...and we are not talking about sport anymore...

Hanifah Yoong Yin Fah comments: In all my dealings with the IWWF I have only utilised the proper channel of communicating in respect of official communications with the IWWF. This is ALWAYS through the Malaysian federation that is a member of IWWF through official affiliation. Can a private company (promoting company not affiliated to IWWF) register with the IWWF for Elite Sanction points? If not then this letter should be addressed to the AWSA and this only on the proviso that the promoting company is affiliated to the AWSA. This is the same with any other international sporting federation. 

To me this letter is not even worthy of a reply although I would recommend that a letter stating above be addressed to the AWSA pointing out this procedure copied to the promoting company.

Hanifah Yoong Yin Fah comments: Just to add, this was the case even from as long ago as 1991, when I got involved with waterski tournament organisation and promotion, having organised the IWSF Asian chanpionships of 1993 and the IWSF Asian Australasian championships of 1994 in Kuala Lumpur as well as having acted as the Event Director in organising the 1993 Singapore IWWF Open Worlds in Singapore on behalf of the Singapore federation. This was always the case in my motorsports experience having organised and promoted many FIA international championships as well as the FIM in respect of organising and promoting the MotoGP and World Superbike championship from 1990 to 1996 for 7 years. Never once I can communicate officially with the international world body except through my national federation.

Celementine Lucine comments: For information, we had a meeting during Masters with Jeff Smith (representing IWWF), Ryan, Jacinta, Bob and I, in which Candido and Felipe also assisted, and we came to an agreement on a compromise for this tournament. 
A proposal of a better written rule will be proposed to the TC soon.
