I have been looking at the USA Rankings in slalom regarding the 65+ entry.  The only issue is slalom.  The requirement so far as stated from the 2012 TC meeting is that the skier be on a National Ranking List.
For the USA that is 130 skiers.  There are 40 65+ skiers that ski into 12m or better.  What we don't know is how many skiers will go just to be in a World Championships.
In the just published E&A Rankings there are 5 65+ skiers that ski into 12m.
At our meeting and what shows in the minutes (which I will send out for approval shortly) is that there is no restriction.  We did allow that I would speak to the organizers about it regarding Entry procedures.  Maybe we need to put in a stipulation of individual entrants need to have a paid entry 30 days before the tournament so that that variable is known.
At this point, we could still add to the minutes that by mail ballot, we are deciding on a possible minimum entry performance level for individual entrants.
At this point all 65+ entrants are individuals as they are not in team scoring.  The 35+ Rules need to be modified to account for the 65+ division.  Right now the team size is a maximum of 8.  Will we include the 65+ division as part of the team and increase the number as well as individuals or just go with individuals for this tournament?

Felix Loreto comments: I am concdrned there will be enough space/time at senior world tournaments in order to achieve this. If we can keep the same number of competition days it would be OK.

Bruce Cockburn comments: We could just set a maximun per country of say 5 or 10 skiers for this tournament after this tournament we need to decide how to treat 65+ in teams and the ranking list cut offs will control the numbers

Gill Hill comments: I am sure we decided that 65+ would NOT be team members for this Championships as it will completely skew the team results.   We agreed in Mexico i think that we would review the situation after the first World 65+ was held.  
For the numbers going in 2014 - i agree with Bruce that we should limit the number of 65+ individual skiers to say 10 per country (regardless of events).  Then it is up to the country to select their 10 best.  
I also think that ALL individual skiers should be required to pay their entry fee at least 30 days before (refundable on production of a medical certificate).

Jeffry Armstrong comments: I agree with Gill on most counts.  W definitely said 65 not on team as scoring members, until after this first time.  I thought we agreed to 15 in the 65+ category.  I remember reminding the TC that we have lots of skiers in that category in the USA  The only thing that need adding is the number allowed.

Bob Corson comments: I heard from Candido and Gill that E&A does not have overall values for 65+.
I looked at AWSA which does have overall for 65+ (M7/W7)  They have a more complicated system where the median score of the ranking list is 500 points and the national record is 1500 points.  The system is non-linear.  Using their supplied calculator I plugged in scores to get 1000 points.  They are as follows:
Men:  5.25@12m, 2385 points, 24.8m
Women: 6@14.25,2055 points, 17.0m
The records used are as follows:
Men:5@11.25, 3750 points, 34.1m
Women: 2@12m, 3330 points, 21m
We could use either or something in between.  Looking at the other divisions and the number used as compared to the records, I would suggest the lower values.
