Here is the issue


We need to put together the criteria for the 65+ division.  Also is there any recommendation for change in any of the other specs?

I know in the USA
Men6/Women6 60-64  slalom max 55/52  jump max 51/48
Men7/Women7 65-69  slalom max 52/49  jump max 48/45

Can we have others as well?

Gill Hill comments: I think we need to look at this on a chart to make sense of the various speeds, shortening speeds, etc.....   We have one for E&A in our rule book, so I am going to send this to Bob directly to see if he can put it up as a CHART to make life easier.

E&A TC will like to propose to increase the jump speed for +35 ladies to 54 Kph

65+ slalom start speed both 43 kph and shorten at 52 Men and 49 Women.  
65+ Jump speeds 51 Men and 48 Women.

for the 35+ women the proposal is for a maximum speed of 54 kph, they can always jump at 51 if they wish.

Peter Person comments: I have to agree with Jeffry. Yes, one can choose a lower speed, but even our experience in OW has resulted in considerable injuries in jump where 54kph may have been a factor.
