I am opening this topic to record decisions taken to allow substitute skiers.  The general practice is to allow a country to provide a substitution if the substitute's ranking is sufficient.

We have been asked to substitute for Hanna Edeback for Sweden who was #13 on the slalom list.  This is an easy choice since the next skier from Sweden is ranked at #15, Joesefin Hirst, Hanna's sister.

Bob Corson comments: All skiers from Australia declined except Michale Briant.  This makes for a large round of substitutions.  I used the previously stated criteria. If the next skier from the same country had a higher ranking than the skier in the first position on the waiting list then that skier would be used.  Otherwise, the waiting list skier would bump up.
Here are the changes:

 This reduces the number of skiers from Australia from 5 to 2.  It also reduces the total number of skiers since Whitney McClintock is already there for other events.
Based on that reduction, we could add in the Australian skier originally bumped for being the 6th skier from Australia, Josh Briant in Men Tricks.
Also, we could wait because we have not had a confirmation from Whitney McClintock since if she withdraws, potentially 3 skiers would be needed to replace her which would put us over the limit.
