The following section is where free form comments are added, and attachments are made. HOMOLOGATOR'S REMARKS - Must provide any variations (examples below): • Rules:Exception to tower and judges setup listed below • Course alterations:None. Everything was in spec. • Malfunction of equipment:None - other than the gate computer ended up in direct sun and shutoff. Restarted it, put it back in the shade. No more problems. • BPMS:Sure-Path was very reliable. New mountpoint with all 4 constellations recently added by IN DOT. End Course was setup/recorded for backup in case needed. • Boat/Speed Control:Zero Off • Other: There is a central tower on the S2-S6 side of the lake. Both Judges were on that tower. Chip's Video Gates was setup and used - worked great and judges love it. The land across the lake is individually owned, and no place to setup a judges tower on that side. Big Foot was spotted in the woods when someone went over to adjust the gate camera. Turned out it was just the guy who owns the property. There was a video camera in the boat to record all record class skiers. In the event that the video was needed for review, the Chief Judge was located at the end of the lake at the starting dock. Fortunately, no cameras got ripped off and went in the drink at this tournament. The handle checker was located on the starting dock - and used. The Chief Judge was near the dock and made sure handles were checked. I provided my second Sure-Path rover phone to the Chief Driver to monitor boat path. No spare laptop available after mine died at the Sawmill tournament. The Chief Scorer is also a judge and was watching the Sure-Path data as it came into WSTIMS. There was one out of tolerance cum deviation at 38 at buoy 6 by one measly centimeter. The skier is a big and strong dude. It takes a firm hand on the wheel when he's on the end of the line. Stuff happens and the driver just got surprised. Certainly not intentional. The driver had excellent numbers at the tournament on Saturday, and this one. The drivers all did a great job. There were very few passes where Sure-Path data was missed in WSTIMS. The Chief Scorer and her assistants also did a great job. In the slalom checklist, even though the judge/tower configuration used is allowed by the rules, there is no choice under bullet #9 like that. In summary, all systems worked well. There were no issues not immediately resolved. No protests. No challenges. Several PBs, but no records. Another very fine backyard tournament.
