The following section is where free form comments are added and attachments are made. HOMOLOGATOR'S REMARKS Give details of any variations of IWWF rules. List any alterations to the course, etc. during the competition. List any malfunction of equipment. Give any further information which might affect the Tournament Council's assessment of the homologation. Competition held at the site of 2017 World Games at Wroclaw, Poland, as a test competition for the intended site. Site is located in enclosed bassin/harbour for the river barges and sailing boats, forming kind of a lake. During the competition there was still some disturbance from such vessels, which was not yet removed from the site. There is no influence of the river current, however one bank of the lake is with a solid, concrete quay (length c.a.150 m), giving problem with a backwash. Other side is steep, grassy bank with no influence of the backwash. It should be noted, that organisers started to prepare arrangement in way of the quay to calm down the wakes, hwever that was not yet completed. Additionally has been noted a heavy backwash from the pylons of the bridge suspended over the lake in way of the pre-gates and gates on one side. As the bridge is located in the angle direction, the backwash from 4 concrete pylons resulted the backwash in diagonal direction. Generally present arrangement of the lake is not yet ready for the title event, as it was confirmed by the results of the skiers. Regarding above competition - due to heavy rain just before 1-st round the video cameras (gate video & end of course video) went out of signals and therefore homologation class was downgraded to NORMAL (boat video signal remain in order). Second round was held on the next day with all equipment restored and in good order. Homologator: Andrzej BERNATOWICZ Str.
