The following section is where free form comments are added and attachments are made. HOMOLOGATOR'S REMARKS Give details of any variations of IWWF rules. List any alterations to the course, etc. during the competition. List any malfunction of equipment. Give any further information which might affect the Tournament Council's assement of the homologation. New bottom-anchored slalom course installed & homologated in the days before the event. This is a so-called "8-buoy" course, aka overlapping 6-buoy. All judging equipment had to be set up in the days before, since this is a semi-public park. Site could use permanent or semi-permanent judge towers eventually. For this event, towers were primitive, but worked. Endgate video on new antenna-type towers also set up before tournament. Endcourse video saved on a special DVR. With 4-camera split screen option. Towers were able to view both gates and Cl. video. Video signals all transmitted via cable. A bit of a crosswind today for some of the time. Some scores into 10.25, but no records, Notable: 5 @ 10.25 by Freddy Winter and 4 @ 10.25 by Dave Miller (CAN) And, Regina beat Todd in the Challenge of the Sexes.
