The following section is where free form comments are added and attachments are made. HOMOLOGATOR'S REMARKS Give details of any variations of IWSF rules. List any alterations to the course, etc. during the competition. List any malfunction of equipment. Give any further information which might affect the Tournament Council's assement of the homologation. The site (for which we suggest the code of site: HUNBUDAP), situated cca 25km south to Budapest in a near-by village Dunavarsany, is well accessible from the motorway H0. It is also within the distance of cca 30 km to the international airport Ferihegy. The skiing area is represented by the artificial lake of the oval shape, aprox. 800m long, and 200m wide of the west-east orientation. The water level is aprox. 3m deep below the ground plain. It is well protected from the north-south winds, prevailing in the local region. No backwash on water surface was observed. The site offers good facilities for the WS competitions requirements, with lot of parking space, good catering services for food and refreshment of skiers and to the public. The organizers very well cooperated with the Jury and officials. The medical service and the rescue team were ready to action, but neither injury nor the hazardous situation occurred. For the WS competition was used "NAUTIQUE 196" boat, which was newly purchased and reliably performed during the competition without any problems or malfunction of equipment. For the speed control, there was employed the Zero Off timing system, which gave a reliable constant speed for every skier without any failure. The slalom course was installed within the IWWF Rules (see attached protocol and diagram). No modification or alterations to the course were needed. The organizers were organizing the international competition for the first time, but showed a very good diligence and competence. During the competitions no protest were raised. At conclusion we can suggest the site for a high rank of the International calendar competitions and recommend to the organizers to have some more international experience over the next seasons.
