The preliminary entry lists indicate that 12 persons may advance to the finals in each event, per IWWF Rule 2.02. However, the actual number of final round contestants is based on the number of skiers actually starting in the preliminary round, and the actual number of skiers qualified for the final round will be announced after the preliminary round of the event.

The official starting time for Thursday, 1 September, is 09:00.
Upon consultation with Mastercraft, the official towboat for the tournament, it has been decided that all tournament Jump events will be pulled using a three (3) blade propeller. All tournament Slalom and Trick events will be pulled using a four (4) blade propeller. All practice (Slalom, Trick and Jump) has been with the four (4) blade propeller, to ensure that all skiers have the same training opportunity and conditions.
